I absolutely loved this model session with Brianne Jeanette! Brianne brought this dreamy multicolored dress, which reminded me of watercolor, and also talked about her interest in mixing fabric textures in her wardrobe. Inspired by other her dress and the idea of mixed textures, I created a backdrop using a canvas dropcloth and different colors of tulle to match the dress colors (along with a shiny gold fabric on the floor.) I used a long lens and set her a few feet in front of the backdrop for the first part to blur the background into a watercolor look (but showed the different textures later in the shoot.) She moved so gracefully in front of the camera; I really enjoyed meeting and photographing her! Sarah Crain did the hair and makeup for this session.
