In December, my friend John Ryan and I went to Dallas to catch a Beenzino concert <3 We spent most of our time in San Antonio, and a little time in Austin as well, before going back to DFW for this shoot and the concert. Before we left for Texas, I put together an amazing dream team for a fashion shoot. I found the stunning model, Shailaun, on Model Mayhem after she responded to my travel notice. I had already seen her portfolio when I was browsing the Dallas models, and was loving her look and work. I was stoked when she e-mailed me! Shailaun helped me find the rest of the talent on Instagram — Danielle Brown, an amazing fashion stylist; and Jessi Marquez, a badass makeup artist! Jessi brought her husband, who also happens to be a talented hairstylist. I absolutely adored working with this team… meeting talented/driven creatives is one of my favorite things about traveling!
