Happy Valentine’s Day! How about a creative boudoir shoot? <3
A while back, I started thinking of what it would look like to shoot into the studio from the doorway outside after seeing a photograph of that nature in a very old building. At first, I thought “well you’d just see the side of my backdrop and a bunch of gear” — but then I thought that it would be a great lighting challenge to do a shoot like that! To shoot around some of the areas that I usually hide from my photographs, and use dramatic lighting to make it look much cooler than it really does. This was my first time working with this model, Audrey Nikki Roeder, and certainly will not be my last — her beauty and grace in front of the camera (as well as her unique look) are inspiring, along with a great attitude. Sarah Crain totally slayed the hair and makeup as per usual.
